Emmy 528 Report post Posted April 17, 2014 Nice chicks Scott I like the BC. At the moment I've only got ONE BC (lol)I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I get another BC from the 7 eggs produced by the parents of the last one. (neither of them were BC) Was the mother a visual BC? Emmy
Ozzy747 25 Report post Posted April 17, 2014 Hi Emmy I have read your posts with regards to your 1 BC. I was gobsmacked that neither parents showed any visual signs at all but can understand it. My hen was a full black cheek. The male is only split but they always seem to create BC youngsters! Scott
Emmy 528 Report post Posted April 17, 2014 Hi Scott No one was more surprised than me when that happened just couldn't believe my eyes when that BC chick popped out of the nest but its true you never know what genes they can be carrying makes it all the more exciting. That's great that you know you will be able to get more BC chicks. Emmy
